So the brown/black stripped one is very brave. After a little bit of skittishness he played with all of us, and eventually ended up on Elaine's lap.
The white haired one is really timid - more so than even Pythag. He will only come out for food. We hope that he gets over it and can enjoy the family.
Pythagoras has not met them yet, but he knows something is up. We are keeping them in the guest room where they can roam yet be safe. All of us take turns hanging out with them.
Oh, here are the picks. Thank you Andrea and Galen for finding us additions to our family!

I think the timid little guy will come around eventually. Our Little Miss was the most timid of the whole lot when the five were all still together, and now she's very adventurous and cuddly. He probably just needs a little more time, since he stayed outdoors a few weeks longer.
Yay! I'm so glad to hear that you guys are happy with your new little pals!

-take a few articles of very well-worn, dirty clothing from your family members and leaving them in the room with him for the next several days. This will get him used to your smells, making them less threatening.
-Only have one family member in the room at a time, and try to move slowly. Too much activity often frightens kittens, especially those that haven't found their confidence or who had a hard time of it early on in life.
-Don't try to pet him or pick him up. Do not make eye contact, or try to entice him. Let him come to you 100%, on his terms. Sit in the room (on the floor, if possible) and read quietly out loud, etc., to get him used to your presence and voice (right after feeding him is ideal). When he comes to you, let him sniff you, and ideally rub on you, before letting him smell your hand. If he rubs on your hand, pet him (very lightly initially. If not, don't. Repeat until he rubs against your hand. This is a pretty effective strategy that helps the kitten feel calmer and less threatened.
-When no one is in the room with him, try to play gentle music or talk radio. This gives them more stimulation, which will make someone entering the room less disruptive than if the room is really quiet.
-Give him booze, it makes everyone friendly. Okay, just kidding about that one.
Let us know how it goes!

It is working out well. Ghost lets up pet him about 1/3 of the time. He is definitely getting better almost every day.
We now leave the door open and they explore the upstairs. They refuse to go downstairs though, so that is our next big step.
And the booze idea was wise, just for the wrong creatures.
